I feel bad. I have not done my obligatory assigment yet. It is a bit cold outside, but the plan is to take some pictures/a picture of something nice on the campus area and place it on the huin server within weekend. Hopefully there will be a lot of nice pictures there and the task will be completed for all of us.
I am really looking forward to the session on thursday though, NRK tells us -1 degrees (celsius) on thursday and some sun looking through the skies so maybe the motorway/roadsystem in this town won’b be too propagated.

The back alley in Professor Hansteens Gate 82
It is the back alley of the apartment I am currently renting. We are four people living in the apartment and we don’t quite get along, so we need to find someone else to take over the apartment. It is actually listed at finn.no, one of the websites Jill showed us today.
Jill showed us some great media content from Youtube in this lesson. I would like to share a video I made. I have posted it here before, but since I have not yet succeeden in meeting the minimum requirements of the obligatory blog assignment, I feel I have to post it again.

I also made a playlist I planned on sending people I know on their birthday, but because of some issues with playlists and autoplay on YouTube, I stopped sending it out. Just be aware there are 9 videos, so if it fails to show them all, click them manually.
(You cannot embed a playlist. Yet…)
The playlist function is a brilliant example of Web 2.0 funtionality imho. It lets people combine media to give it new meaning.
Today was my second time in class in the subject HUIN105. We were given an obligatory assignment - to make a guide to the University of Bergen. I want to make a text based game (some of you might be familiar with the classical game Adventure).
I might not have time for it, but I hope I get the chance. I’m thinking a semi-visual solution with an image from each location. Maybe with a goal of finding a specific person’s office in the HF building (they constantly move the staff around there).
So, what do you think? Any comments?
Det var visst 75 % frammøteplikt i dette kurset. Det får jeg se om jeg kan få til, selv om jeg er i full jobb. Håper jeg klarer denne prosenten, ellers er det uansett lærerikt.
Jeg regner med å få gått på forelesning i dag, om det er muligheter for parkering. Jeg har ennå ikke ordnet med parkeringsløyve ved UiB på min nye bil.
Jeg har nå jobbet en del med COAM, og her er slik det designet som skal leveres inn sammen med oppgaven vil se ut:

nå skal vi skrive noe wikigreier tror jeg. Følger ikke så godt med, men får vel gjøre det da. Så har vi sett litt på hva som skal komme på eksamen osv.
Jeg har nå laget en konfigurasjonsfil i XML. Jeg har også laget en DTD til denne. Jeg har dessuten laget en foreløpig DTD til innholdet som kommer ut i xml-format. Jeg legger det ikke ut her, fordi “code”-taggen i min versjon av Wordpress ikke virker helt (tror jeg)…
Det som er litt spesielt er at jeg ikke har noen attributter i min XML. Jeg har kun elementer. Jeg syns dette er ryddigere akkurat nå. Det sies jo også, blant annet på w3schools.com at det ikke er noe bestemt grense mellom hva som skal være attributt og hva som skal være element, det er opp til koderen.
I dag har vi hatt rollespill i en MUD. Det var bare tull. Tull og tøys. Så skal vi analysere dritten etterpå. Og jeg byttet navn mange mange ganger, ingen hadde fortalt meg at dette ikke skulle være lov… Nekter å analysere for alle de avatarene jeg laget asså. Det får noen andre gjøre. Kan dette brukes i en læringssituasjon? Nope!
